Who is Winona Cole?

I am Winona Cole from Portland Oregon. I found Jesus Christ at the age of four and grew up in the Portland Foursquare Church. I lived with my Mother and Grandmother who was herself a Foursquare Pastor. I have been an avid student of Christian centered personal development, human behavior, success principals and business strategies for 40 years.

I have been married for 47 years and have just become a Great Grandma on July 18, 2009. (a very young Great Grandma of course)

I have held multiple positions of group leadership in Aglow International and graduated with honors from AFCM, Word and Spirit Bible Training Center, a two-year Bible School. I am presently a Life Coach and writer of Christian materials and other writings dedicated to helping others rise up to the potential that God has uniquely placed in them.

I love eagles and they inspire me but I believe that a human being was meant to fly higher than the eagles. Physically we can, in airplanes, and even go on out to the moon and soon the planets.

But in our personal achievements we should also fly. Fly as high as we can.

Every person is born with a champion inside us. We knew it as little children that we somehow were special and destined for great things.

Then we had training. We were all trained in some fashion by parents, siblings, teachers, circumstances and trauma and such. Trained on how the world was and how it treats us and how we should act. Some of us were told we’d never amount to anything and others were trained that they could be whatever they wanted.

So we all ended up different and a lot of us were afraid and backward and prone to intimidation. Many of us had low self-esteem, and maybe hiding behind masks to cover it up, thinking we must not show that we are actually somehow inferior to others.

As Christians, not only do we also have that champion in us but also we have the Spirit of God. Through Him we have gifts way beyond this. The Word tells us that we are MORE than conquerors.
